Phoenix based sleaze rockers the Crash Street Kids have released the first single from their upcoming album, ‘Sweet Creatures,’ entitled “Bang Bang (You’re Beautiful)” b/w “Transatlantic Suicide” and “Do You Still Believe In Rock and Roll (Live).”
Weaned on equal parts David Bowie, T. Rex, Mott The Hoople and Queen, the quartet blends their influences with modern day elements to create an equal musical balance.
Having released four albums in just as many years, the band has built a strong worldwide following and critical acclaim both at home an abroad. “We’re completely into the old school model of one album a year,” says frontman and main songwriter, Ryan McKay. “Hell, our fourth release was a double live album, following the precedent set by KISS and Cheap Trick.”
Crash Street Kids new full length album, Sweet Creatures will be released in early Autumn 2011 through Vanity Music Group.
