(18 June 2013 – Boston, MA) Massachusetts based aggressive rock band Mongrel will premiere the video for their new single, “C and 1/2” via the highly influential revolvermag.com on 18 June. “C and 1/2” is the followup to the band’s prior successful “Bored To Death” video.
Produced by guitarist Adam Savage and bassist Michael Ariza, the video was filmed by Ariza, Christopher Tejada and Integra Photography. The video was edited in-house as well by bassist Ariza. The band filmed the video on the streets of Salem, MA, at the Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge MA and a small corner store in Danvers, MA. Savage describes, “I came up with the concept of doing a video for this song based around a ‘cookie-monster’ type character a while back but until our new bassist Mike (Ariza) joined up with us it just wasn’t meant to be. The concept evolved into a messed up origins type video in a way and really lets Mike’s personality show. We even brought in our old bassist for the video to further the ‘origins’ plot line as well as a repeat appearance by alt-goth model Blu as a continuation from our last video…We just had too much fun making this honestly and there was so much great footage we didn’t get to use that we’re planning on making a behind the scenes documentary later this summer to share some of that with everyone. Just classic stuff !! We hope everyone else will get a sense of the fun we had with this.”

“C and 1/2” comes from Mongrel’s newest album Reclamation, released digitally in September of 2012 via THC:Music and to brick and mortar outlets in May of 2013 through Vanity Music Group.
